Alberta Books Canada Presentation to Teachers at Indigo Signal Hill ...

Thanks to my long-time friend and bookseller extraordinaire, Judy Gardner. for inviting me to speak about Alberta authors and their books to a group of invited teachers from schools in the surrounding SW area of Calgary ? and one from Edmonton.

I decided to speak about Alberta authors whose books are listed in the Indigo/Chapters? system and who I know are available for school visits. I also included a few titles for adult reading, because these teachers wouldn?t just be interested in books for their students. Several of the books on my list were purchased immediately, including copies of my own book. Plus I made a few good connections through speaking to this group. A great success!

My only question of Judy after we finished was, Why hadn?t she and I thought of doing presentations like this before? We rocked!! I now have plans?
