Even before he took a snap under center, Brandon Weeden's debut with the Cleveland Browns wasn't going well.
The 28-year-old rookie quarterback was warming up on the field before Cleveland's season-opening game against Philadelphia when troops began unfurling a gigantic American flag for the pre-game festivities. Perhaps foreshadowing his lack of field awareness, Weeden didn't notice what was going on until it was too late. He ducked down underneath the flag as the troops continued to unravel it and eventually found his way back to the sideline.
After this minor miscue, Weeden went out and threw four interceptions in a 17-16 loss. It just wasn't his day.
